【摘要】:Theabrasionresistanceoftilesurfacesisdeterminedbyrotationofanabrasiveloadonthesurfaceandtheassessmentoftheresultantwearbymeansofvisualcomparisonoftheabradedtestspecimensandnonabradedtiles.Astainingagentinlightoilmaybeusedtohelpdeterminewhetherabrasionsurfaceislikelytoresultinmechanicalentrapmentofdirtparticles.1.1Thistestmethodisdesignedtomeasuretheresistanceoftilesurfacestovisiblesurfaceabrasion.Certainirregularsurfacesmaynotbeevaluatedproperlybythistestmethodbecauseofwearpatterns.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisproceduredoesnotmakeprovisionsfortheapparentdifferenceinabrasionvaluesbetweenlightanddarkcoloredtile.1.4Thisproceduredoesnotoptimallyevaluatelossofglosswithabrasion.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
