【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeprovidesspectrophotometricmethodsfordetectingthepresenceoffluorescenceinobject-colorspecimens.Note18212;Sincetheadditionoffluorescingagents(colorants,whiteningagents,etc.)isoftenintentionalbythemanufacturerofamaterial,informationonthepresenceorabsenceoffluorescentpropertiesinaspecimenmayoftenbeobtainedfromthemakerofthematerial.1.2Thispracticerequirestheuseofaspectrophotometerthatbothirradiatesthespecimenoverthewavelengthrangefrom340to700nmandallowsthespectraldistributionofilluminationonthespecimentobealteredasdesired.1.3Withintheabovelimitations,thispracticeisgeneralinscoperatherthanspecificastoinstrumentormaterial.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
