【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftheshort-timecompressibilityandrecoveryatroomtemperatureofsheet-gasketmaterials,form-in-placegaskets,andincertaincases,gasketscutfromsheets.Itisnotintendedasatestforcompressibilityunderprolongedstressapplication,generallyreferredtoas"creep,"orforrecoveryfollowingsuchprolongedstressapplication,theinverseofwhichisgenerallyreferredtoas"compressionset."Also,itisnotintendedfortestsatotherthanroomtemperature.Aresiliencycharacteristic(theamountrecoveredexpressedasapercentageofthecompressedthickness)mayalsobecalculatedfromthetestdatawheredesired.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
