【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC7811isoneofaseriesofstandardsdescribingthecharacteristicsforidentificationcardsasdefinedinthedefinitionsclauseandtheuseofsuchcardsforinternationalinterchange.ThispartofISO/IEC7811specifiesrequirementsforalowcoercivitymagneticstripe(includinganyprotectiveoverlay)onanidentificationcard,theencodingtechniqueandcodedcharactersets.Ittakesintoconsiderationbothhumanandmachineaspectsandstatesminimumrequirements.CoercivityinfluencesmanyofthequantitiesspecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC7811butisnotitselfspecified.Exposureofthecardtoamagneticfieldislikelytodestroytherecordeddata.Itisthepurposeofthisseriesofstandardstoprovidecriteriatowhichcardsshallperform.Noconsiderationisgivenwithinthesestandardstotheamountofuse,ifany,experiencedbythecardpriortotest.Failuretoconformtospecifiedcriteriashouldbenegotiatedbetweentheinvolvedparties.ISO/IEC10373-2specifiesthetestproceduresusedtocheckcardsagainsttheparametersspecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC7811.NOTENumericvaluesintheSIand/orImperialmeasurementsysteminthispartofISO/IEC7811mayhavebeenroundedoffandthereforeareconsistentwith,butnotexactlyequalto,eachother.Eithersystemmaybeused,butthetwoshouldnotbeintermixedorreconverted.TheoriginaldesignwasmadeusingtheImperialmeasurementsystem.
