【摘要】:Thisprocedureisintendedtostandardizeamethodofmeasuringthecoefficientofrestitution(COR)ofbaseballsandsoftballs.Thisprocedureisestablishedtoprovideasingle,repeatable,anduniformtestmethod.Thisprocedureisforaballthatisintendedforuseinthegameofbaseballorsoftball.Thetestmethodisbasedonballspeedmeasurementsbeforeandafterimpactwitheitheroftwotestsurfaces:woodormetal.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
