【摘要】:Thegeotechnicalmapresultingfromapplicationoftheproceduressetforthinthisguideispermanentdocumentationwhichmaybeusedinthefollowingways:4.1.1Compilationofbasicgeotechnicalinformation.4.1.2Designverification.4.1.3Evaluationofpreconstructionassumptions.4.1.4Instrumentationlocationanddataanalyses.4.1.5Identificationandlocationofproblemsandpotentialproblems.4.1.6Provisionofrecordsforcostandclaimsadjustments.4.1.7Provisionofinformationusefulinfuturesimilarornearbyprojects.Constructionorsafetyconsiderationsmaylimittheabilitytomaptothefullextentoftheproceduresofthisguide.Therearesignificantbenefitstomappingasclosetotheadvancingfaceoftheopeningasisfeasible,dependinguponsafetyandlogisticalconsiderations.Mappingemphasisshouldbeplacedonthosegeotechnicalfeatureswhichareanticipatedorarefoundtoaffectoverallperformanceoftheexcavation.Dust,water,lackoflight,limitedexposures,orotherphysicalfactorsmayaffectthequalityofthemapping.1.1Thisguiderecommendsproceduresformappinglargesubsurfaceopeningsmadeforeithercivilorminingpurposes.1.2Themappingprovidescharacterizationanddocumentationoftheconditionoftherockmassattheexcavationsurface.1.3Themappingmaybeaccomplishedduringorafterexcavation;however,ifpossible,themappingshouldbecompletedbeforeconstructionactivitymodifiesorobscuresthesurfaceconditionandespeciallyanycriticalgeologicfeatures.1.4Themappinglevelofdetailshallbeappropriateforitsintendeduse.Thismappingdoesnotreplacerigorousinvestigationstodevelopphysicalormathematicalmodelsofbehavior.1.5Whensoilorsoil-likematerialsareencounteredintheexcavation,theyshouldalsobeappropriatelymappedanddescribedinaccordancewithapplicableASTMstandards.1.6Manyoftheprocedurespresentedinthisguidemaybeused,aswell,tomapsurfaceexcavations.1.7Themappingdoesnotreplacethesurveyingofexcavationgeometry.1.8AllobservedandcalculatedvaluesshallconformtotheguidelinesforsignificantdigitsandroundingestablishedinPracticeD60261.9Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard1.10Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.11Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationoraseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisdocumentcannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgment.Notallaspectsofthisguidemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisdocumentbeappliedwithoutconsiderationofaproject''smanyuniqueaspects.Theword"Standard"inthetitleofthisdocumentmeansonlythatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.
