【摘要】:Thisclassificationcoversmachine-made"fiberglass"(glass-fiber-reinforcedthermosetting-resin)pressurepipe.Methodsofclassification,requirements,testmethodsandthemethodofmarkingareincluded.Bothglass-fiber-reinforcedthermosetting-resinpipe(RTRP)andglass-fiber-reinforcedpolymermortarpipe(RPMP)arefiberglasspipes.Note1Forthepurposesofthisstandard,polymerdoesnotincludenaturalpolymers.Thisclassificationisbasedonthemethodofmanufacture,thetypeofmaterialsusedinconstruction,andthetestperformanceoftheproducttype.Itisnotbasedondimensionsorrawmaterialspecifications.Twomethodsofclassifyinglong-termstrengthareincluded:(1)basedoncyclicloadsforuseinthoseliquid-handlingapplicationswheretheeffectsofpumpingbyduplexortriplexpumpsorothercyclicpressureloadsdictatetheperformancerequirementsofthepiping,and(2)basedonthesteady(static)loadssuchaswouldberequiredforgasserviceapplications.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoregardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisclassification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note2ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
