【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheapparentviscosityofpetroleumwaxescompoundedwithadditives(hotmelts).Itappliestofluidhotmeltshavingapparentviscositiesuptoabout20Pasattemperaturesupto175?C(347?F).Note1Forpetroleumwaxesandtheirblendshavinglowapparentviscosities,belowabout15mPas,TestMethodD445,isespeciallyapplicable.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsshallberegardedasthestandard.Onepascalsecond(Pas)=1000centipoises(cP).Onemillipascalsecond(mPas)=1centipoise(cgsunits).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
