【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,dimensions,workmanship,flatteningresistance,impactresistance,pipestiffness,extrusionquality,joiningsystem,andaformofmarkingforlargediameters,18to48in.poly(vinylchloride)(PVC)sewerpipeandfittingswithintegralbellelastomericsealjointsandsmoothinnerwalls.1.2Therequirementsofthisspecificationareintendedtoprovidepipeandfittingssuitablefornonpressuredrainageofsewageandsurfacewater.PipeandfittingsproducedtothisspecificationshouldbeinstalledinaccordancewithPracticeD2321.Note18212;Industrialwastedisposallinesshouldbeinstalledonlywiththespecificapprovalofthegoverningcodeauthoritysincetemperaturesinexcessof140x00B0;F(60x00B0;C)andchemicalsnotcommonlyfoundindrainsandsewersmaybeencountered.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityorregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
