【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeprovidesapplicationcriteria,definitions,andsupplementalinformationtoassisttheuserinobtainingmeaningfulvacuumionizationgagemeasurementsbelow10x2212;1N/m2(10x2212;3torr)inspace-simulationfacilities.Sinceavarietyofinfluencescanalterobservedvacuummeasurements,meansofidentifyingandassessingpotentialproblemareasreceiveconsiderableattention.Thispracticemustbeconsideredinformational,foritisimpossibletospecifyameansofapplyingthevacuum-measuringequipmenttoguaranteeaccuracyoftheobservedvacuummeasurement.Therefore,theuser''sjudgmentisessentialsothatifaproblemareaisidentified,suitablestepscanbetakentoeitherminimizetheeffect,correcttheobservedreadingsasappropriate,ornotethepossibleerrorintheobservation.1.2Whilemuchofthediscussionisconcernedwiththeapplicationofhot-cathodeionizationgages,noexclusionismadeofcold-cathodedesigns.Sinceagreatdealmoreexperiencewithhot-cathodegagesisavailableandhot-cathodedevicesareusedinthemajorityofapplications,thepresentemphasisisfullywarranted.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricequivalentsofinch-poundunitsmaybeapproximate.
