【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversagroupofgeneralrequirementsthat,unlessotherwisespecifiedinthepurchaseorderorinanindividualspecification,shallapplytorolledsteelplate,sheet,andstrip,undereachofthefollowingspecificationsissuedbyASTM:SpecificationsA167,A176,A240/A240M,A263,A264,A265,A666,A693,A793,andA895.1.2Inthecaseofconflictbetweenarequirementofaproductspecificationandarequirementofthisspecification,theproductspecificationshallprevail.Inthecaseofconflictbetweenarequirementoftheproductspecificationorarequirementofthisspecificationandamorestringentrequirementofthepurchaseorder,thepurchaseordershallprevail.Thepurchaseorderrequirementsshallnottakeprecedenceifthey,inanyway,violatetherequirementsoftheproductspecificationorthisspecification;forexample,bywaivingatestrequirementorbymakingatestrequirementlessstringent.1.3Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets,exceptthatwhenA480Misspecified,AnnexA3shallapplyforthedimensionaltolerancesandnotthebracketedSIvaluesinAnnexA2.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.4Thisspecificationandtheapplicablematerialspecificationsareexpressedinbothinch-poundandSIunits.However,unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablex201C;Mx201D;specificationdesignation[SIunits],thematerialshallbefurnishedininch-poundunits.
